Stress relief annealing after 3D printing

Internal stress is an intangible quantity. People keep talking about it, but no one has actually seen it. So we tried it. Results of XRD stress measurements after printing samples from Ti6Al4V on a Renishaw printer. The measurements were made before and after annealing, on samples printed parallel and perpendicular to the printing platform. Does that sound good to you? I think there can be no better proof. It just works.
