ISO 20431:2023

In July of this year, the new standard ISO 20431:2023, concerning heat treatment and quality assurance, was published very discreetly. Seemingly similar to CQI-9, in fact a different perspective on ensuring the OTI (Order To Invoice) process in both In-house and commercial distilleries.

And since CQI-9 is for the automotive industry, I have to take it that ISO 20431:2023 is for the rest. So whoever wants to succeed in the market with general heat treatment, the application of this new standard will be a basic baby.

To tell you the truth, it made me very happy…
