Even if I’m already packing my suitcases for the holidays, he won’t give it to me, and I have to comment. The price of electricity has climbed to 283.65 € / MWh and is approaching three hundred. Not only is this another forecast that did not work for me, but also for the guys from Brussels. At the same time, Temelín produces it at a cost of 47 € / MWh.

Why am I writing about it? Against this trend, on the other hand, is the desire of die foundries to save pennies on automotive production, for example by increasing the life of die casting dies. The above trend is simply throwing a pitchfork into all possible efforts. Whatever I do, I will never save enough to cover the increased costs of the idiocy of politicians.

And how it relates to CQI-27. This document, created by AIAG, entitled Special Process: Die Casting Assessment, was issued in 2018, and according to Table H, Aluminum High Pressure Die Cast should be used for self-audit of HPDC foundries.

The procedure is not new to me, most heat treaters should undergo self-audits according to CQI-9, and they also perform them.

But when I started in more detail, after reading points H1.7 and H1.8, I jumped with joy. In order for the HPDC foundry to meet the conditions of the automotive industry audit, it must work with the choice of material for die casting tools and its heat treatment according to Nadca – 207.

So I just looked on the web, which of the main Czech HPDC foundries work for automotive and have certification IATF 16949: 2016, and I note that all. So maybe when I come back from vacation, everything will be different….
