Aichelin acquires Nitrex

I still have an unsigned agency agreement with Nitrex on my computer. We encountered obstacles that were insurmountable for me. This week, news came that Aichelin had bought the Nitrex group, a furnace manufacturer. Whether the acquisition also includes UPC-Marathon and therefore Protherm equipment is unknown, as is the fate of GM-Enterprises, the recently acquired vacuum furnace division in the USA.

It is difficult to deduce what will come of it. Only in my memory is the acquisition of my former partner in HT-PROGRES, the company SAFED from Delemont (CH). I wrote about it here on my blog: https://intelligent-kalam.80-240-27-133.plesk.page/freddy-hannig/

Aichelin completely liquidated the company SAFED. Since then, I have not had a warm relationship with him. And Freddy Hannig? I don’t even want to say. So we’ll see. Nitrex has launched a nitrocarburizing equipment for brake discs, which has made it a direct competitor to ECM in this area.
