Daido DHA – GIGA steel

So, something has moved forward in GIGA Casting. Daido Steel has launched a new steel for GIGA molds. Its parameters are absolutely astonishing.

If Nadca 207 prescribes a minimum cooling rate of 28 °C/min for steels of type H11 or H13, with Dievar 6 °C/min is enough to pass the bainite region. And DHA-GIGA? 3 °C/min is incredible, as are the impact energy values of around 40 J. So big congratulations, the world of large GIGA tools is saved…..
