In recent months, more and more suppliers have been sharing photos of their products, either installed or ready to be shipped, to Volvo\u2019s new Gigacasting plant in Ko\u0161ice, Slovakia. The Ko\u0161ice plant will use Volvo\u2019s latest electric vehicle technology. In line with Volvo\u2019s next-generation production strategy, it plans to produce two models with gigacasting for the rear chassis.<\/p>\n Production will begin by the end of 2026 with a new Volvo model, followed by the <\/span>Polestar 7<\/strong><\/span>, an electric SUV, in 2028.
