Ev\u017een scared them away after death. For those who didn&#8217;t know him, just a little look back<\/p>\n<p>I have known him since 1966, when we joined SP\u0160 Kotl\u00e1\u0159sk\u00e1 in Brno together. It&#8217;s been a beautiful years, maybe the best in our lives. In addition to all secondary school activities, we were also actively involved in music, Ev\u017een was king, he achieved piano mastery when he was able to play Bugatti step by Jaroslav Je\u017eek\u2026<\/p>\n<p>We made it to graduation exam here and then they broke up, I disappeared in Liberec in 1970 and he stayed in Brno. The new environment fully drew me in. After all, I am still excited about this city, and especially its surroundings.<\/p>\n<p>Then came the revolution, the privatization of 1992, and our little miracle, HT-Progress. The first private vacuum heat treaatment shop in the Czech Republic. But because thanks to our French partners from Fours BMI we started to offer plasma nitriding for the French company Poclain Hydraulics in Brno, it didn&#8217;t stop there, and after an agreement with Poclain Hydraulics we established a new plant in Brno, in the K\u0161\u00edrov\u00e1 complex. And I needed a capable person for this operation.<\/p>\n<p>It didn&#8217;t take long for me to remember Ev\u017een. He was hidden somewhere in the department of forming at university V\u00daT and dozed there with his teaching life. We agreed, so Ev\u017een became the director of HT-PROGRES Brno.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-kalam.80-240-27-133.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/pic00008.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2913\" src=\"https:\/\/intelligent-kalam.80-240-27-133.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/pic00008-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/intelligent-kalam.80-240-27-133.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/pic00008-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/intelligent-kalam.80-240-27-133.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/pic00008-195x146.jpg 195w, https:\/\/intelligent-kalam.80-240-27-133.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/pic00008-50x38.jpg 50w, https:\/\/intelligent-kalam.80-240-27-133.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/pic00008-100x75.jpg 100w, https:\/\/intelligent-kalam.80-240-27-133.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/pic00008-600x450.jpg 600w, https:\/\/intelligent-kalam.80-240-27-133.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/pic00008.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">1999, Ev\u017een at the director&#8217;s desk in Brno<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>He stayed with us until 2006, when we started building a new greenfield on the \u010cernovick\u00e9 terraces in Brno, this time under the Bodycote HT brand. We said goodbye there. I still have remorse for this. I don&#8217;t want to describe it here, it just happened and Ev\u017een went to Hustope\u010de to build new plant for Thyssen, later Schmolz-Bickenbach, and today Swiss Steel. He was well trained by us &#x1f60a;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-kalam.80-240-27-133.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/obrazek1-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2911\" src=\"https:\/\/intelligent-kalam.80-240-27-133.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/obrazek1-2-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/intelligent-kalam.80-240-27-133.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/obrazek1-2-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/intelligent-kalam.80-240-27-133.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/obrazek1-2-110x146.jpg 110w, https:\/\/intelligent-kalam.80-240-27-133.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/obrazek1-2-38x50.jpg 38w, https:\/\/intelligent-kalam.80-240-27-133.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/obrazek1-2-56x75.jpg 56w, https:\/\/intelligent-kalam.80-240-27-133.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/obrazek1-2-300x400.jpg 300w, https:\/\/intelligent-kalam.80-240-27-133.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/obrazek1-2.jpg 541w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">approx.2001 year, Fair in Brno (Ev\u017een in the middle)\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If I can evaluate it retrospectively today, we would not have succeeded in Brno without Ev\u017een. He took on his role very well, and thanks to him, we built a prosperous operation in Brno.<\/p>\n<p>.. so he&#8217;s just not here anymore. I don&#8217;t know what to say, it&#8217;s not the first in our class, but since I&#8217;ve lived with Ev\u017een for a part of my life in Liberec, I&#8217;ve been in contact with him all this time, most recently this spring. He didn&#8217;t sound happy anymore and I know why. \u2026.<\/p>\n<p>And how was he? Intelligent, reliable, friendly, just a great person. So Ev\u017een, good luck and contentment to that heat treaters \u00a0heaven\u2026.
