There is still a debate about how to 3D print critical parts. This infographic provides a partial answer, showing our results. But if you are going to tackle this issue at all, you need to start with EN IEC 60812:2018, Failure modes and effects analysis, and establish criticality criteria, and ISO\/ASTM 52967:2024, Part classifications for additive manufactured parts used in aviation. Although no standard directly addresses 3D printing of Dievar for parts of die casting molds, according to all the rules, these inserts must be classified as critical and the production process adjusted accordingly.<\/p>\n

I don’t want to comment on this infographic, but there are an incredible number of them on Linkedin. I think this method can popularize things a lot, so I will try it too. If a person puts in the work, they will eventually force AI to do what I want. And if it still doesn’t work, I move on to another one. Still better than arguing endlessly with someone you don’t even know …<\/p>\n
